Mr. Sloan was born September 20, 1949 in Nashville to the late David Toon and Evelyn Mills Sloan, Jr. (74 years old). Kay is preceded in death by her: mother, father, husband and sister, Wilma Planzer Crissman. Tom is survived by his wife, Diana Lee Smith of Fayette . He was loved and cherished by many people including : his sons, Vince Smith and Brad Smith; and his grandchildren, Ian, Riley and Olivia. Kay and Fred moved 28 times in the first 28 years of their married life. Mattie taught Carla neatness as well as cleanliness.
